I am starting to feel like a local! Besiktas is the perfect neighborhood for me. Last weekend I discovered “breakfast street” which is actually several streets full of Khavalti Khave’s servering delicious Turkish breakfast. After breakfast my roommate and I walked to the Saturday Market and practiced our Turkish to purchase all of our fresh produce for the week.
